Public buses are almost non-existent in Negara Brunei Darussalam, an oil-rich Southeast Asian country in which almost everyone owns and drives their own car. There is however, a small network of public bus services serving the capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan.

All the buses, 90% of which consists of Mitsubishi Rosa midibuses, are painted purple, making them stand out among the traffic. A flat fare of B$1 is charged for all trips.
